PC-9.1
The PC9.1, the newest premium speaker in the signature Premier Collection, is a handsome, floor-standing three-way model. PC9.1 represents the company's most advanced technology and design profile, reflecting Phase Technology's high standard of "The Value of Handcrafted Quality."
This series incorporates advanced technologies developed by Phase Technology for unsurpassed sound reproduction. Included are patented solid-flat piston drives (patent # 4566178) which inhibit the "break up modes" known to degrade clarity and smoothness. Our Unicell. anti-diffraction treatment, a proprietary uniform density foam, surrounds every tweeter (and midrange on the PC9.1 and PC3.1) to absorb stray sound waves before they can reflect off surfaces to create diffraction distortions. Also featured are user-adjustable variable-axis soft-dome tweeters, another patented (patent # 3328537) Phase Technology invention, that can be aimed by the user to create a wide soundstage.

3-way Floor-standing Tower Speaker with dual 7" VDT. Vapor Deposited Titanium woofer with butyl rubber surrounds, and a patented 1" soft dome tweeter for the deepest and fullest sound in the series, and a stunning design for a striking aural and visual statement.
The front ported V-12 offers enhanced detail with bi-wireable drivers, and includes sturdy floor spikes. The one-piece Uniframe speaker basket/baffle assembly forms a surface layer of rigid, three-part platform that essentially eliminates the transmission of vibration. It combines the woofer basket with a mid-section of dense, highly damped, viscous foam, and a base layer of MDF for a level of clarity unlike anything you've heard before. Also included are black metal grills and two possible cabinet finishes - warm Sun Maple and contemporary Black Rosewood laminate.
